WILLOW AND HAWTHORN

WILLOW AND HAWTHORN

Through April and May, salute the trees, bow and smile.
Willow tree roots run deep, finding the flow and pulse of water.
Emotional and spiritual, their branches bend. The willow tree is closely associated with the Divine Feminine, the Goddess, the power of the ‘Windy Moon’ of April.

Hawthorn, the Irish Faerie Tree, is magical and wish fulfilling.
Symbol of overcoming obstacles and tension, the Hawthorn is your guardian and protector. Plant as a hedge, especially useful in the east and southeast feng shui sectors of your garden, against nasty encroachments of the outside world, envy, fear, jealousy.
Hawthorn is indeed so magical, it is a symbol of ‘revived love’ during Beltane, during May, wish each day, and watch love blossom and grow.
all good things,
