This full moon is the Chinese Mooncake Festival.
Zhong qiu jie……..a time of happiness and reunions.
People tell the story of the moon fairy/princess who lives in a palace made of crystal, at full moon, she comes out to dance upon the moon.
Harvest Festival time, count your blessings.
The Harvest Moon in Native American culture is called the Nut Moon, the Choctaw call it the Mulberry Moon, one last peak of mulberries now before the winter sets in.
Give homage to the tall trees, as leaves begin to fall. Gain abundance, yang energy is praised by placing steel, copper and bronze in the northeast feng shui sector of your home, a great place to light eight red candles, perform meditation rituals, take zentime to chill out.
In the northwest sector, copper coins are good, placed heads up to the ceiling….make wishes, ask for the help of influential friends/people……the end of September, beginning of October is a special time of advancement. Use it well.
