the danger right now is anger
emotions rise,
temptations to turn back and fall into the same trap
resist
do not be thrown from the horse
do not be blown of course

steady, ready, ahead, rise to the pathway, jump the prickly hedges
do not overload your steed
drop the baggage
yes indeed
smile, be pleased, ease yourself into sunshine
leave behind the dark tunnel

hold the reins
count your gains
remain focused on the journey
