As December approaches, let rituals guide you—–visit ancient holy places, splash your hair and face with sea water, cross a small bridge, bring red berries and evergreens into the home, into the east and southeast sectors.
Deck the halls with lights to show hope, to push back the darkness. The Winter Solstice is a time for hugs and hurrahs, a time for gathering together, love, peace and goodwill…..positive vibrations at this time of deep darkness.
Forgiveness is important, putting things right, ensuring all is completed as it should be, as the tired horse year plods on — to end in February 2015. Bring in greenery, use bright fiery colours in the southern sector of your home.
Before the Solstice comes, for a few minutes, sit in the complete darkness, and give thanks for the light!
